- The display window in the touch pad not only shows the temperature
of the spa but also the preset temperature which can be adjusted
up or down with one of the arrow keys. There is also a clock
- An LCD was used as it is easily read in high ambient light
and is also backlit for night viewing. This new liquid crystal
display has a 20 deg C increase in temperature tolerance over
the last one making it less susceptible to Sun damage. The TEMP/CLK
button toggles the display between clock and temperature.
- The new Micro controller has a self test on startup and is
self calibrating of it's temperature on a regular basis.

- Battery backup has been eliminated as all the presets information
is now held in a EPROM.
- A Command Mode button has been incorporated into the design
to simplify the access to the automation of the New Computer
Control.
- Demand Heating for reduced running costs. The computer will
revert to this position after one hour of normal running, so,
forgetting to turn the spa off is a thing of the past. A two
hour shut down time is now incorporated to save on multiple startups.

- A Maintenance Cycle is standard and runs for one and a half
hours a day in which time it filters the water, exercises the
heater and dries out the blower. The start time is easily programmed
into the control pad.
- A three speed blower outlet.
- L.E.D. indicators for all control operations.
- An auxiliary outlet for a second pump or ozone generator.
- A Spa Light output is incorporated.
- Some models will shut down the Auxiliary and Light outlets
down after one hour when the Spa Commander switches to demand
cycle. The blower shuts down on all models.
- Many safety features are built into the computer and take
over if a problem exists
